Calling All Table Captains!

Yes, we're talking to you! If you're looking to be a part of the 14th Annual Acorn Equality Fund Breakfast by purchasing a table, now is the time. You can download the form, fill it out and send it back with your check and we'll get your table reserved. This year will be a little bit different. We're seating tables of 8 and the table cost is $280. If you're interested in single tickets, that price is $35 and you can use the same form to request them in advance.

We look forward to seeing you all again this year on Saturday December 1!

The deadline for returning AEF Scholarship applications is approaching fast! All applications must be postmarked by September 28th to be considered. A copy of the scholarship can be found here.

2012 Family Breakfast is coming up fast!

The 2012 Acorn Equality Fund Family Breakfast is coming up fast! Students are hard at work on their scholarship applications and the AEF Board is working on the final details to make the event great. PLEASE MARK YOUR CALENDARS! December 1st is the date and we’re again at the Embassy Suites in East Peoria, IL. If you were a Table Captain in the past, and are interested in being one again, shoot us an email at acorn1999@gmail.com and we’ll be sure to get you set up. Tickets this year are $35 each and we’ll have tables of eight. We’ve already had commitments from several of you so we can’t wait to hear from the rest. As always, tickets will be available at the door for $35 if you can’t fill a table of 8. We’ll have plenty of extra seats. Watch our updates on Facebook for more details!

2011 Family Breakfast Success!

We want to thank everyone who showed up and help to make the 2011 Family Breakfast a HUGE SUCCESS. Special thanks to The Pauls Foundation for their generous grant and to The Caterpillar Foundation for their matching grant. With their help and yours, AEF raised more money at our breakfast than ever before. That means more money available for next years scholarships.

We also want to thanks Zach Wahls, our featured speaker this year. We’re very happy he could make time in his busy schedule to share breakfast with us. If you stuck around and got your picture taken with Zach, feel free to post something on our Facebook page or submit it to us by email and we might feature you on our website!
